DB Maint
is an administration tool for SQL Server
installations. Db Maint facilitates database
maintenance, improves and monitors SQL Server
performance and significantly reduces the risk
of losing company critical data.
Db Maint
is designed to be easy to use, yet powerful.
Db Maint
consists of a client and a server. The client
can be run from any Windows 9x or Windows NT
computer with a connection to SQL Server. The
actions to be performed (e.g. backup,
reorganization, performance information
collection etc.) are defined through the
graphical client program. The server program,
as scheduled, then executes these actions. The
client is also used for documentation of the
SQL Server installation and viewing of
collected performance information.

release of Db Maint 4.0, there is now a "Db
Maint for MSDE" version available. It has the
same features as the regular Db Maint, will
